Tom Dean

Tom Dean, 81, of Beaufort, passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Tom was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the USMC. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is now riding motorcycles with his Higher Power.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Dean of Beaufort; daughter, Cathi Dean and significant other, Chris Tankersley of Greenville; daughter, Patti Lewis and husband, Michael of New Bern; grandchildren: Casey Wilcox, Evan Eadus, Magick Lewis, and Michael Lewis Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Dean; brother, Steve; and his first wife of 35 years, Barbara Burk.
