Obituary Trina Colette Worley Futo, 59, went to be with her eternal Father in Heaven, Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Worley, father, Frank Worley, brothers Tim Belcher and Johnny Worley. Trina was born in Charlotte, NC, on November 10, 1961. She finished the 9th grade at Randolph Junior High in Mecklenburg County before the family moved to Beaufort, NC, in 1977. where she graduated from East Carteret High School in 1980. Then, continued her education at Carteret Community College, taking classes toward a degree in Criminal Justice. She worked in the office, as secretary, at Carteret Appliance Service, which her father started. Her brothers, Tim and Johnny, eventually took ownership when their parents moved out of town. After the death of Tim she dedicated many years in helping her brother, Johnny, in the office at Hamilton Furniture and then at Worleys Appliance Service, when he began his own business. She was also secretary at Maranatha Pentacostal Holiness Church. Her favorite getaway was vacationing in Ocracoke. She, also, enjoyed camping in the mountains with her best friend / husband, David, and their Westie, Cali. Trina loved to praise God, whether in church, at home, or attending Christian concerts whenever possible. She was a rule follower who had a heart of gold, often putting others before herself. She had a wonderful, loving relationship with her daughter and very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Since her diagnosis in 2018, she was determined to overcome her fight with cancer. She never gave up and fought until God decided to bring her home. She was a powerful prayer warrior who will be greatly missed by her family and those whose lives she touched. Trina is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Futo of Otway; daughter, Shelby Futo and her partner, Christopher Thomas of Beaufort grandchildren Micah and Kennedy Thomas of Beaufort; sister, Brenda Alley and brother-in-law, Tim Alley of Beaufort; as well as, many nieces and nephews.
