William 'Bill' Arthur Comer

William "Bill" Comer, 62, of Newport, passed away Friday March 24, 2017 at his home. Mr. Comer worked for over 20 years as a Lineman for Carteret Craven EMC. A service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Comer of Newport; son, Ryan Comer of Broad Creek; three grandchildren, Elisha Comer, Ezekiel Comer, Ryley Pitts; sister, Suzanne Ryan of Richmond, CA; brother, John Comer of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Comer. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the: Salvation Army of Carteret Co., 1700 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557, a church of your choice, or do a charity bike run that benefits a good cause.
