William "Bill" Blades Lewis, Jr.

William “Bill” Blades Lewis Jr., 73, of Beaufort, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort.

Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Styron of Newport; son, Ricky Owens of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Damein Styron of Newport; Savannah Owens of Elkridge, MD; Angeles Styron of Havelock; Kristina Styron of Cameron, NY; Morgan Bowman of Ashville, NC; Kenny Owens of Elkridge, MD; Dalton Styron of Newport; great grandson, Riley Tiffany of Cameron, NY; four sisters, Nancy DeShong of California; Myrtle White of Harlowe; Mary Newman of Beaufort; Alice Adams Beaufort; brother, Robert Lee Lewis of Smyrna.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Blades Lewis, Sr and Viola Marie Fender Lewis.
