William 'Buster' Manley Yates

Obituary William 'Buster' Manley Yates, 89, of Beaufort passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care of Sea Level. Mr. Yates was a US Army Veteran. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Woodville Baptist Church of Beaufort with Pastor Terry McInnis officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Carteret Memorial Gardens in Beaufort. He is survived by his wife, Eula Yates of Beaufort; son, William David Yates of Rayne, LA; daughter, Katherine "Kitty" Salter of Beaufort; four grandchildren, David Paul Smith; Timothy Michael Smith; Kimberly Yates Tucker; Krystal Yates Chapman; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manley and Melva Yates; four brothers and four sisters. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 Monday at the Church.
